“Come, follow me.” Jesus of Nazareth
Jesus Christ is The PERFECT LEADER!
1. Inspirational Vision
Jesus is the most 'Inspirational' Leader because he addressed his followers 'In- Spirit'! He inspired people with a vision of when the naked will be clothed and the hungry would be fed when God reigns! He's the only person with such a great and encompassing vision that transcends time, culture and mind!
2. Discipline is Wisdom
Jesus operated from a base of fixed principles or truths rather than making up the rules as he went along. He walked and worked with those he was to serve.
His leadership style was not only correct, but also constant.
3. Humbly Listen
Jesus was a listening leader. He loved others with a perfection and listened without being condescending. He listened with patience, gentleness and wisdom.
4. Peace is Power
Jesus is known as The Prince of Peace. According to scripture He was able to calm a storm by mere words. When Peter drew his sword and smote the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear, Jesus said, “Put up thy sword into the sheath” (John 18:11).
5. Teach
Jesus lived a life that dynamic, he had many apostles and he grew His ministry following the words: "Be fruitful and multiply." His words let to a revolution in the hearts and souls of men that we still feel until today.
He reproved and rebuked Peter in love and wisdom as part of the construction of a church. A church that still stands today amidst persecution based on the Teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.
Many people only focus on the 12 disciples, yet Jesus had over 72 other followers! He was truly charismatic and enigmatic to all the people he led. He was so engaging that he was followed by 5000 men without a microphone or a twitter account. They left everything to the extent that he fed them miraculously!
6. Love
No man has such a love like His, that he died for the world's sins!
He is completely selfless and filled with altruism that led him to humble himself to death on a tree! Love is the dominant trait of his leadership and it's so infectious and powerful that he still lived by that spirit today!
7. Humility
It is Jesus that said whoever is the be the greatest among you must first be least. His teachings echo the truth: Leadership is service.
He was a servant to the world to the extent of washing the feet of his disciples. The man of Galilee shows love when the world portrays hate, power when we feel weak and hope when we are in doubt.
8. Jesus prayed every day.
Above all, Jesus submitted to the Spirit of God through daily prayer!
- “After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray.” –Matthew 14:23
- “Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, ‘Sit here while I go over there and pray.’” –Matthew 26:36
- “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.” –Mark 1:35
- “But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” –Luke 5:16
- “One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.” –Luke 6:12
- “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.” –Luke 18:1
